La Fortuna Waterfall Walk

The La Fortuna Waterfall is one of the best things to see when you come to the Arenal Area! The waterfall it’s located 6 kms from the town of La Fortuna. All entrance ticket fees goe to the local town non-profit committee that runs the waterfall to help with culture, sports, infrastructure and many social projects in La Fortuna. Once you arrive at the waterfall,

you will start at the look out point then head down with your guide 500 steps to get to the waterfall and of course 500 steps to get back up. We will take breaks on their way to soak up the lush rainforest, tropical birds and variety of wildlife that you may be lucky enough to see. When you reach the bottom, you will be blown away by the beauty of this towering waterfall. You will have the chance to swim in the waterfall. When we return to the top, we will have fruits waiting for us.
