Rio Celeste and Tenorio Volcano Hike
Description
Discover one of Costa Rica's best kept secrets on a hike through the Tenorio Volcano National Park. Here you will experience real contact with nature and at the same time discover Rio Celeste. You will hike through the rainforest and along the Celeste River, where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenons. Two brooks merge together, turning clear water into a divine turquoise water. During the hike we also see the Rio Celeste Waterfall, the boiling points, the blue lagoon and the Tenorio Volcano. The drive from La Fortuna takes 1.5 hours and we stop to see La Paz Tree. After the 8km hike it’s done we go to a private property to have lunch and to swim
in the Rio Celeste river.
